WHO IS LIVE JAZZ GROUP?
We are a group of jazz lovin musicians jammin to the awesome standards of the
Great American Songbook...Come join the fun!
... We share an enthusiasm for the American Jazz composers and the tunes they
wrote including and among our favorites are Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern,
Rodgers & Hart, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Victor Young, Fats Waller, Burke & Van Heusen,
Duke Ellington, Vernon Duke, Harold Arlen, Jimmy McHugh, Irving Berlin, and
Antonio-Carlos Jobim.
Although we have varied musical backgrounds, serendipitous and fortuitous
circumstances have brought us together . There is a pleasant electric chemistry
between the core Live Jazz Group members that include:

Lil Josephine on Electric bass, Upright bass

& Special Guest GIO
Various Horns: John Doheny, John Ewart, Scott Clemens, Bob Rotherham, Matt Kirkland
We are often joined by other musicians sitting in or playing the event with us: Matt Kirkland on Trumpet, John Ewart on Sax/Clarinet, Rene Coman on tenor sax/vocals, Bob Rotherham on alto sax,
Warren Battiste on Guitar, Vocalist/guitarist Maria Victoire,
Vocalist GINGERBREAD, GIO, Scott Clemens on alto sax, and many others.
